This section of Nīoi, on the Kahuku side, was destroyed by the landowner in order to construct a sewage treatment plant. The archeologist hired prior to the bulldozing of these features wrote in his report that this upright stone, the wall and numerous other features were all modern, constructed by Samoan or Tongan manioc farmers.
